The Parenting Programme is based on The Incredible Years School Age Parenting Programme, but Fostering Connection – Families with ADHD focuses specifically on families where the child, the parents, or both have Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
This programme is designed for parents or carers of children aged 6–12 years, and provides practical guidance to strengthen family relationships, improve daily routines, and support children’s development.
Duration: 10 weeks
Frequency: Once a week
Format: Online group sessions (2.5 hours each)
Language: Maltese & English
Dates: Saturday 1st November – Saturday 3rd January 2025
Time: 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM
Group size: 10–14 adults
Parents will gain tools and strategies to:
✅ Build stronger, more positive connections with their children
✅ Support them effectively with homework
✅ Set clear, consistent rules
✅ Collaborate with teachers to nurture academic, social, and emotional growth
✅ Understand how ADHD affects family life and discover positive ways to move forward
The course is practical and reflective, featuring short parenting videos, group discussions, hands-on exercises, and take-home materials to help parents apply what they learn each week.
